Start Following Jesus
If you’re ready to take the next step, this is a good place to begin.
Where Are You Right Now?
Maybe you’ve been thinking about faith for a while and you’re finally ready to say yes. Maybe you used to believe and you want to find your way back. Maybe you’re not even sure what you believe yet, but something is drawing you here. That’s all fine. You don’t have to have it worked out. Following Jesus doesn’t start with having all the answers — it starts with turning towards him.
What Does It Mean to Follow Jesus?
Following Jesus starts with trust, not with having your life sorted out first. It means coming to him as you are, believing that he died and rose again for you, and asking him to forgive you. And he does — completely, and for good.
From there, a new life begins. You belong to God. His Spirit is in you. And you learn, day by day, to live his way.
You don't do this on your own. Jesus calls people into a family, and that is exactly what we are here for.
A Prayer to Begin
If you want to begin following Jesus today, you can talk to him right now. This isn’t a formula — it’s the start of a real conversation with a God who is already listening.
Jesus, I turn to you today. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for dying for my sins and rising again. Please forgive me, make me new, and lead my life from this day forward. I put my trust in you and choose to follow you. Amen.
What Happens Next?
Tell someone — following Jesus was never meant to be done alone. We’d love to be the first people you tell. Start reading the Bible — a great place to begin is the Gospel of John. Pray — prayer is just talking to God; be honest, be real. Join us on a Sunday — come and find your place in the family. Get baptised — when you’re ready, we’d love to talk to you about what that means.

Our stories of faith and baptism
Two people from our church share how knowing Jesus has changed their lives and why baptism matters to them.
A new chapter with God
I want to be baptised because, over the recent months, I have felt myself being drawn towards faith in Jesus Christ.
Through this journey, I have come to know and trust that God loves me, is always with me, and has a plan for my life. I find peace in knowing that I don’t have to have everything figured out, because I can put my trust in Him and His timing.
I want to devote my life to God and His ways and publicly declare myself as a follower of Christ.
For me, baptism represents the beginning of a new chapter—rising into a new life with God, letting go of the worries and anxieties I have carried, and moving forward with faith, trusting that wherever God leads me, His plan is greater than my own.

Growing closer to Jesus
I want everyone to know how coming to know Jesus has changed my life. I want to become more like Jesus every day and grow closer to him.
