Homegroups
It has been said many times that one of the hardest things for a new person, either Christian or Non Christian, is coming through the front door of the building. Homegroups are all about - opening the door wider and the church reaching out.

A definition of hospitality is – kindness to visitors; friendly, welcoming, and generous treatment offered to guests or strangers and this describes the Homegroups at Longton Community Church.

Homegroups are to be places where:

•  You feel comfortable to bring new people
• People are put at easy and welcomed    
• Jesus is always at the centre
• There is a warmth between each other
• Kindness and generosity are displayed
• There is an atmosphere of reaching out to tell others about Jesus
