How to live a grateful life

Living a grateful life isn’t always easy or convenient, but it’s ultimately worth it. There’s great healing to be found in the regular practice of gratitude.

God Accomplishes What We Can’t

Grace is God accomplishing in us that which we cannot accomplish by ourselves. In this passage, we see the grace of God revealing himself to Peter, the grace of Jesus building his church, and the grace of the church’s victories over the gates of Hades.

Have you understood

Jesus shares five distinct parables before asking His listeners, "Have you understood what I've just shared?" This question is relatively straightforward and timeless. The kingdom of heaven is present all around us, and it is incredibly valuable and easily accessible, all thanks to the sacrifice of Jesus. However, are we able to understand it?

Focus on the future.

If you are thinking the right thoughts and your eyes are fixed on the right person, it’s time to start walking towards what God has for you in the future rather than focusing on the past.

In this video, you will learn to get out of His way and let Him guide you into your future.

Focus on the good.

The things that we give our attention to are often influenced by our thoughts. Our thoughts can have a significant impact on our emotional and spiritual well-being, either leading us to a dark and low place or uplifting us to new heights. It's important to remember that dwelling on negative things can make it challenging to see the positive aspects of life.

Focus on Jesus

In this passage, Peter teaches us that when we lose focus on our one true source, to stumble in life. Jesus is like a beacon of light in a dark us towards the right path. By keeping our eyes fixed on Him and striving to follow His teachings, we can experience His greatness in amazing ways.

A New Way

The beatitudes of Jesus are a powerful reminder that the blessings of the Kingdom are not just for those with power or position. Still, they are available for the meek, the broken-hearted, the gentle, the persecuted, the forgotten… They are available for all of us because all of us need Jesus. He makes a new way for all to be saved and experience God's manifold blessings.

Light the Way

Jesus shares that these very people, the meek, broken-hearted, hungry, peacemakers, merciful, persecuted, etc., are the salt and light of the world. It’s their job, and our job, to light the way for others so that all may come to Jesus.

Keep the Way

Jesus reforms some of the primary teaching coming from the Rabbis of His time.

He calls us to consider the posture of our hearts in matters of sin and righteousness.

It is so important that we keep the way of Jesus with perseverance and steadfastness.

He is the way

Jesus often instructed people to keep His true identity a secret. When Jesus transfigured before Peter, James, and John, He revealed to them that He is the saviour of the world and the Son of God. He is the way, the truth, and the life.

The Challenger

The story of David and Goliath is one of the most well-known in the Bible.

It’s a story of God’s ability to deliver His people, even through an unlikely hero.

God gets the Glory

God chooses unexpected heroes like David, who may be physically weak or inexperienced, to demonstrate His strength.

All you need

The video offers valuable insights into the strategies employed by David to achieve success. By studying his approach, we can gain knowledge on how to overcome obstacles in our personal lives.

How to Respond to Victory

David, a modest shepherd boy, was able to defeat the giant Goliath with the assistance of God.

However, what is the proper way to react to victory?

Our Story

Pastor or NOT!

Pastor Andy Our Story

Andy King is the pastor at Community Church. He says Pastor! - that is what I do, my name is Andy!

When we asked Andy what is his passion, he said:

"My passion is to help every member come to maturity in their faith. I also have a passion to see lives changed and to reach out to those who are on the edge.

I long to see people set free from chains of addiction and released from the darkness of depression.

Those who are struggling with hang ups, or are hurting, and especially those who have been hurt by church in the past.

I have a passion to see people restored and growing in their relationship with Jesus, my goal is not only to see people become Christians but to see everyone become the person Jesus has made them to be".

If you have any questions about our church or about Jesus, Andy would love to hear from you,  why not message him now

Our aim is to make church real to people, in the way it was originally intended.

Our Story is a journey towards authenticity there are three key elements that are vital to our purpose:

Worship and Prayer

Individually and together we express our thanks and love to God and deepen our relationship with him.

We believe that in an "Authentic Church", worship and prayer are not just Sunday activities but a lifestyle in which we seek to please God and honour him, confident that he hears and answers us.

Reaching the Community

We declare the good news, that Jesus came to bring life in all its fullness.

We believe that "Authentic Church" recognises God’s plan is to bring wholeness to the hurting, restoring people physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Strong Relationships

We help each other to grow to be more like Christ and encourage one another with truth from the Bible.

We believe "Authentic Church" is a place where everyone can feel accepted, belong and contribute their unique gifts and talents.

Growing in Relationship
